The 17th International Conference on Electrorheological Fluids and Magnetorheological Suspensions (ERMR2019) will be held in Wollongong, Australia from 15 to 20 December 2019.  The ERMR2019 aims to share current and explore new science and technology relevant to electro- and magneto-responsive materials. Its overall scope spans basic science to materials to engineering applications.

This conference generally takes every second year at different locations in the world, which has provided over more than 30 years a platform for interdisciplinary discussions strengthening the progress in the field of Electrorheological and Magnetorheological technologies. Specifically, the conference will cover areas including materials selection and preparation in field-responsive fluids and suspensions, physical properties and dynamic behavior of magnetorheological suspensions, physical properties and dynamic behavior of electrorheological fluids, physical properties and applications of ferrofluids, MR elastomers and gels synthesis, new experimental approaches, magnetic fluid, engineering applications of MR suspensions and ER fluids, modeling, simulation and control theories for field-response devices, medical and pharmaceutical applications of field responsive fluids and suspensions.

After successful and fruitful biannual meetings in various countries, The ERMR2019 will be for the first time organized in the southern hemisphere. It will be an excellent opportunity for experts, researchers and students to share current and explore new science and technology relevant to this research field. We cordially invite researchers, practitioners and students to present and discuss their current research and innovations.
